Transfer unit-equipped isolated power panels are designed to be fed from two sources. The transfer unit continuously monitors the priority-selected source and switches the output to the second source in case of power failure or deviation from standard voltage values. When the primary source returns to normal values, the output resumes to be supplied from the first source. It is mandatory for Group-2 rooms to be fed from the priority UPS as well. The transfer system should be configured to feed from the priority UPS.

In addition, IT panels include a line monitoring system (fault detection system). All output lines are individually monitored via trodial current transformers. When there is an insulation leakage at the output of the isolated power panel, the insulation monitoring device detects the leakage. Then, it commands the fault detection system to find which fuse output the insulation leakage is on. The fault detection system scans all lines at its output and finds one or more lines where the leakage is. Since the fault detection devices are designed to monitor 6 lines, IT panel outputs are produced as 6-line, 12-line, 18-line, and 24-line.

If there are no specific requests, IT panels are produced as standard 10 KVA power and 12-line output. Isolated power panels are also produced as single-phase panels in powers of 3.15 KVA, 4 KVA, 5 KVA, 6.3 KVA, and 8 KVA upon special requests.
